This shuttle operates twice in the morning from Monday to Thursday, ensuring a stress-free and efficient commute between Braunschweig central station and our Salzgitter plant. What's more, it also runs twice in the afternoon, providing a convenient ride back from Salzgitter to Braunschweig.

Online Application

Start your PowerCo journey by creating an account with your email and setting a password. For Future Talents, the mandatory components of your application include your CV and a Cover Letter. However, there are additional essential documents that you need to provide, such as your Transcript of Records, Certificate of Enrollment, and diplomas. These will help strengthen your application.

You have the flexibility to return to your application and make edits at any time. Simply log in to the career portal using your account credentials. There's no need to recreate your entire application every time.

Phone Screening

You managed to get to the next round? Congrats! You will receive an invitation to a phone screening with one of our future talent recruiters.

The purpose of the telephone interview is to get to know you better. The recruiter will ask you some general questions about your background and your interest in PowerCo. Be yourself and enjoy the first exchange with the company. Any questions during this call are more than welcomed. If the telephone interview is positive, another interview with the department will follow. The recruiter will inform you about the further steps.

Technical Interview

After a successful phone screening, you will receive an e-mail invitation to our online technical interview, exclusively with the hiring department.

The technical interview is a critical part of our selection process, designed to assess your expertise and suitability for the position you've applied for. Our goal is to gain a comprehensive understanding of your abilities and potential fit within our team.

Here's a valuable tip: We recommend reviewing the job description and reflecting on your experiences before the interview to ensure you're well-prepared.

Contract

If you successfully pass the technical interview, you will receive a feedback call from your recruiter with a contract offer. If you accept the offer verbally, it will be approved by our management and works council and we will send you your final contract. After you have signed it, your recruiter will forward you to the onboarding team.

Onboarding

Welcome to PowerCo! Even before your official start date, we make sure you feel part of the team with our Preboarding Sessions—an opportunity to get to know your future colleagues and prepare for your first day. Once you’re here, our Welcome Days will give you the full PowerCo experience, introducing you to our strategy, culture, vision, and values. From there, you’ll dive into a personalized Department Onboarding, where you’ll meet your team and get all the tools you need to hit the ground running. We're excited to have you onboard and can't wait to start this journey together!

In consultation with your supervisor and in consideration of organizational concerns, mobile work is principally possible to a certain degree.

After consultation with your department and if there are enough vacant positions for interns, you have the opportunity to complete a Bachelor's or Master's thesis following your internship.
